Horsham Beer Trail 2013

The Horsham Beer Trail, which is part of The Big Nibble Festival, is happening again on Saturday 31st August. It's a great event and I'm hoping to take part (purely in the interests of research you understand).

Set off for a journey, visiting the town centre’s most diverse watering holes and sampling some of the finest beers that Horsham pubs have to offer. This is your chance to sample those beers you thought you might never try in all those pubs you never think about going into!

If you don't know anything about the Beer Trail, it's a great opportunity to try different beers at different venues. You buy a small glass (I believe it is 1/6 of a pint) for £1, collect a programme from the Carfax, and visit 11 pubs where you can try a different beer at each venue.

Each pub/venue has a couple of beers that are part of the Trail so you choose one that you want to try. All the beers are free after you have bought the glass. Of course, you can buy additional beers if you want.

There's also the chance to win a two course meal for two with a bottle of house wine, courtesy of The Black Jug, if you complete the Trail.

I reported on the Horsham Beer Trail in 2011 and really enjoyed the day. So, if you are in Horsham on Saturday 31st, why not give it a try!
