Description
Cosy, local pub with two small bars serving beers from Hall and Woodhouse including Tanglefoot and Fursty Ferret. Flagstoned floors, large fireplace and antique farming implements decorating the ceiling. Bar billiards table and other pub games. Garden to the right of the pub.
The second bar [at the rear] of the pub is more suited for eating. When I visited, they served good value fish and chips on a Friday evening.

How to get there
By car
Littleworth is a small hamlet between the A24 and Partridge Green. Take the B2135 [signed Partridge Green] from the A24. Continue towards Partridge Green and take the second left - it's about 1.5 miles [2.5 km] from the A24. The pub is signposted here [but it's only a small sign]. Turn left in Littleworth and the pub is on the left.
Cycling
The A24 is very busy so the best way to get here is from Horsham -> Southwater Street using the Pedlar's Way bridleway at the bottom of Queensway. At the top of the bridleway, turn left through Sedgwick to Copsale.
From Copsale, head towards Maplehurst. Turn right in Maplehurst and cross over the A272 near West Grinstead. The pub is 1.5 miles [2.5 km] from the A272 junction. Apart from the A272 crossing, this is a very quiet route.
Suggested cycling routes from here
Pick up the Downs Link bridleway in Partridge Green and continue north towards Copsale. Continue from Copsale on the bridle path towards Southwater and the Hen and Chicken.
or, quiet country lanes from Littleworth -> Maplehurst -> Nuthurst and then Monk's Gate and Horsham. Visit the White Horse in Maplehurst or the Dun Horse Inn in Mannings Heath on the way back to Horsham [bit of a 'Horse' theme here!]
or, cycle to the Hare and Hounds in Cowfold.

A hidden gem! A real pub with excellent Badger beers and friendly staff and landlord. Good old-fashioned pub games and unfussy food.
An extremely welcoming atmosphere, roaring log fire, good menu, friendly landlord...and dogs.
