Description
The Lamb Inn was the first pub owned by King and Company [one of the breweries that was formed after the demise of King and Barnes] and it serves 3-4 different beers from its parent brewery. When I was there, there was Horsham Best Bitter and Red River Ale as the two main beers. There is a different beer every few weeks.
The pub has been renovated but it retains its flagstone floors and dark wooden beams - there is also a separate non-smoking "conservatory" area. No garden but there is an outside seating area at the front of the pub. Large menu featuring fresh fish as a speciality.
You may even see a llama [yes, llama] tethered outside on occasion because one of the local farmers likes to take it for a walk to the pub!

How to get there
By car
Lambs Green is a small hamlet between Faygate and Ifield. It is approximately 2 miles [3.2 km] from the A264.
Cycling
From Horsham town centre, make your way via Rusper Road, or via Crawley Road, and then a short distance on the A264 [busy road for cyclists] to Faygate. At the Faygate roundabout, turn left into the village itself and cycle past the Holmbush Inn pub on the left.
Continue uphill slightly for 1.25 miles [2 km] and then turn right [signposted Ifield, Lambs Green]. After 0.5 miles [0.8 km] the pub is on the right...
Suggested cycling routes from here
Come out of the pub and turn right to visit the Gate at Ifield which is only 5 minutes cycle from the Lamb.
or come out of the pub and turn left, returning the way you came. At the Faygate road junction, instead of turning left towards Faygate, turn right to Rusper. Visit the Plough or Star Inn in Rusper village or the Six Bells at Newdigate.

Service was really good and the food was to die for. We had fillet steak and it was the nicest steak we have had in a long time. We will be going there again.

Good beer, great staff and good food. Could serve more on the plate but maybe I am just a big eater.

Me and my partner have been using this pub regularly for two years. Food has always been good, beer excellent, and service outstanding. Lately though, bit of a disappointment on the food because vegetables boiled to death, no flavor to them. Portion size on some things has gone way down and there is not as much care given to the food. Guest beers still excellent and the staff are outstanding

Luckily for us, we live 2 minutes walk from this lovely pub and I am proud to call it our local. The food is always amazing and the staff friendly. The atmosphere has improved greatly recently and, being fairly new to the area, I don't feel like it is "just for locals" anymore! All I can say is, try the ice cream. It is to die for!

Have eaten in this pub on numerous occasions and never had a bad meal. Bar area is very welcoming as are the staff. The kitchen staff in particular are always keen to ensure you enjoy your meal. Good selection of beers and wines by the glass. Will be even nicer when smoking is no longer allowed in the bar!

We have enjoyed two excellent meals lately at the Lamb. Locally sourced food, plenty of variety, friendly service and, of course, super ales. Everything an English pub should be.
