Description
The Owl at Kingsfold is a free house and it sells real ales from several local breweries, including TEA from Hogsback Brewery and Otter from Otter Brewery. The pub has an attractively decorated and furnished, part-conservatory, restaurant area on one side with a deli and farm shop, stocked with food and drink [nice range of bottled beers!] from local growers/brewers, on the other side with main bar in the middle.
NEWS November 2010: The pub changed ownership and its name, from The Wise Old Owl to The Owl at Kingsfold, in October.
The pub has free Wi-Fi. There is a garden and outside seating area on two sides and large car park.

How to get there
By car
Kingsfold is a small village on the main A24 road between Horsham and Dorking.
Cycle to the pub via some quieter roads by cycling through Warnham. Cycle to Warnham from Horsham and follow the road north through the village past the Sussex Oak pub on the left. Take the next left [signposted "Northlands, Ockley"] and cycle up the hill. At the top, follow the road round to the right and then downhill. The road bends to the left but continue straight ahead up Mayes Lane. At the end, turn right into Marches Road and this bring you into Kingsfold where the pub is on the T-junction with the A24.
Suggested cycling routes from here
Cycle back from Kingsfold to Warnham and there are some quiet lanes between Warnham and Broadbridge Heath.
Off-road, cycle back to Horsham via Langhurstwood Road. Turn right out of the pub and cycle south for a short distance along the busy A24 [Take Care!]. After approx 0.6 miles [1 km] there is a bridleway opposite the Dog and Duck pub that crosses the railway line into Langhurstwood Road.

I've been here a couple of times now, and have found the food to be great, and the ales well kept, with a choice of local brews. It was nice in the winter, with lovely log fires. It's right on the main road, so eating outside might be a little noisy! I've tried to write a balanced review but can't find anything bad to say!
