New Pub
The Holmbush Inn in Faygate is a friendly, family-run pub serving three ales including a local beer. It truly is a family-run pub because the landlord's wife's Mum does the cooking!
Featured Pubs
The Limeburners Arms is a small pub near Billingshurst [close to the A272 road to Wisborough Green]. It's easy to miss but is worth a visit. Recent reviews of the pub have been pretty good.
The Red Lyon is in the quiet village of Slinfold. The pub has a cosy atmosphere with plenty of oak beams and wooden panelling and a heated terrace. The pub offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation as well.
The Bridge House is Closed
The Bridge House at Copsale was a great place to stop during a walk or cycle ride along the Downs Link trail. Unfortunately, the pub has now closed and the building has been sold for residential use. Shame.
Thanks to Phil K for information about the closure.
Newsletter
This is the first newsletter for a while and it's only a short one at that!
I'll be adding more pubs to Horsham Pub Guide over the next few months and will send out a newsletter each time.
Cheers
